Foundation problems in homes are usually due to dry weather, soil conditions and either flooding or drying of the ground surrounding and under your house that leads to movement in the foundation.

Usually most owners start to realize that they have foundation problems during either the dry weather of the summer or the wet weather of the winter months. Doors start to stick or refuse to open or close, cracks appear around the door jams or even across the ceiling.

Foundation problems are often ignored or just passed off as "the house is settling" naturally. The faster foundation problems are addressed and corrected the lower the cost and the less likely there is to be serious damage.
