Carefully read and compare the warranties offered by the various mobile home manufacturers in your area. Basic warranties should include plumbing and electrical work, appliances that are installed by the company and the workmanship and materials used in the construction of the mobile home.

Mobile homes need to be transported and set up or installed on your property. Often the company contracts this service out to a sub contractor that specializes in transporting, set up and leveling of a new or used mobile home. Ask about this service and if it is covered by basic insurance or if you need to purchase travel and installation insurance.
