Often the company contracts this service out to a sub contractor that specializes in transporting, set up and leveling of a new or used mobile home. Ask about this service and if it is covered by basic insurance or if you need to purchase travel and installation insurance.

Mobile homes, while built to be moved, become less structurally sound every time they are moved. This is particularly true for the older model mobile homes. If you are planning on buying and moving a mobile home talk to your moving contractor and find out if you can insure the mobile home for possible damage during the move.
