The gloss of the paint you select is an important step in the process. You will want to look for the right choice for you. Flat paint offers no sheen, while low gloss offers just some. A glossy paint will shine and may even reflect light off of it. You should make sure to measure the room to determine the right amount of paint to purchase for it. Get the number down to square feet. You'll need at least two coats, as most areas will require at least that. By the way, one gallon of paint will generally cover about 400 square feet with just one coat.
